James Nalbone, MDJames Nalbone, MD, is licensed by the state of New York as a Physician and has been licensed in the past by the state of New Mexico as a Physician. In addition, he has obtained board certification as a General Psychiatrist issued by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 2000, and was re-certified in 2010 and 2020. Dr. Nalbone received his undergraduate degree from Franklin and Marshall College, his Medical Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and completed his Residency Training at Albany Medical College. After training, Dr. Nalbone began his practice in this area. Dr. Nalbone is a highly qualified and experienced psychiatrist who has been treating patients in his private practice since 2001. In addition, he maintains other outside consulting activities and professional work.

Susan Spencer, NPPSusan Spencer, NPP, is licensed by the state of New York as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from Russell Sage College. She received her Masters of Science Degree and certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from the Sage Colleges in 1999. Susan has over 10 years of experience working with those suffering from Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia. She treats both men and women, age 17 years and up, and has been nurturing a special interest in women's health issues and mood disorders across the reproductive life cycle. She has been in practice with Dr. Nalbone since 2003.

Nancy McClearn, NPPNancy McClearn, NPP, completed her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Nursing at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. Her advanced training includes course work at UNC Chapel Hill, the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. and Sage College. She achieved a Post Masters Degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist, Board Certified in adults in 2005. A Post Masters Degree as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified by American Nursing Credentialing Center in 2008. She is treating people at all ages and stages of life transitions using the modalities of family, group interventions, individual treatment, or a combination. Prior to joining Dr. Nalbone’s practice she has worked inpatient, day treatment, crisis intervention and psychiatric prevention programs.

Marianne Nettina, NPPMarianne Nettina, NPP, is a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry, completing her Post Graduate Certificate program in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing at SUNY @ Stony Brook in 2016. She completed her RN training in Buffalo, New York, and her graduate work at Syracuse University, where she obtained her MS degree. She has been practicing as a certified Nurse Practitioner in Adult Health for more than 15 years. She has a broad practice background, with extensive experience treating Substance Use and Eating Disorders. As an educator, Ms. Nettina has trained nurse practitioners serving as a preceptor at Columbia University in New York City, and as an associate professor of nursing at Adirondack Community College. Her nursing background makes her uniquely qualified to provide guidance and strategies for healthy lifestyle transition and maintenance. Ms. Nettina is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the New York State Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Katherine Carlton, PMHNPKatherine Carlton, PMHNPis a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who completed her Masters degree in Nursing at the Russell Sage Colleges in Albany in 2023. She has earned a certification in Wellness Counseling from Cornell University. Before joining our practice, she has worked in various settings as a psychiatric nurse for the prior 15 years. Kat has special interest in working with women with fertility and reproductive health challenges. She also is comfortable treating those suffering from mood problems, anxiety difficulties, and ADHD. At this time, she is available to see adult patients.
